Al Jerry Frank Ken Al
Ken Reuter - Guitar, Vocals |
There is the ability to perform music and there is the ability to draw people in and get them involved. The goal is to entertain at the highest level. Al Dolatowski - Bass Guitar, Vocals |
Born and raised in Palatine, IL, Al started playing guitar at the age of 12. He began his music career playing guitar and joined the "Commodore Blues Band", later changing to bass guitar in the band, and hasn't put it down since.
Al played with Chicago's own "Shadows of Knight", as well as other great bands, and has been in opening bands for Neil Diamond, Allman Brothers, Santana, Rare Earth, Three Dog Night, R.E.O. Speedwagon, Pacific Gas and Electric Company and later formed the band, "Bad Habit" with ex-Pacific Gas and Electric guitarist, Ken Utterback.
Al has done studio work for commercials and soundtracks for cartoons, as well.
Al: "Working in a recording studio is very cool, but there's nothing like the reaction on people's faces at the live shows, when you know you've struck a nerve and they're diggin what you're doing!"
Al Parquett - Guitar, Vocals
|
It all started with a crystal A.M. radio that he built from a kit. He was fascinated with early rock, Elvis, Beatles, Dave Clark Five, Chubby Checker, Motown and Classic soul. He played trombone since age 7 and in High School concert and marching bands. At age 15 he purchased a guitar and taught himself to play. Over the years, he's shared the studio and stage with many talented musicians.
Al: "I am currently honored to return to my roots with The 45's."

Jerry Lieberthal - Keyboards
|
Jerry started playing piano at age 9. He trained in classical piano composition.
As a teenager, Jerry began studying at Alan Swain Studio's in Evanston. He became interested in Blues and Jazz and spent many years delving into Blues and Jazz music. In his 20’s and 30’s, Jerry honed into rock n roll . . . everything from Allman Brothers to The Beatles.
15 years ago he met a bass player Nick, and formed the band "SkyLion", where they played classic rock and originals. "SkyLion" played all sorts of venues in the North and Northwest suburbs. The band consisted of awesomely talented people with a rich history of original music. After SkyLion, Jerry joined The 45’s . . . .
Jerry: "They are all accomplished musicians that take pride in their art, and each of them inspire me to be the best. It would be hard to find a more talented group." |
|
Frank Stauffer - Drums, Percussion |
Its been Frank's fortune to play in a wide variety of musical settings. Having spent time in both studios and on the road, performing a complete range of music, from covers to originals, publishing to jingles, Frank feels the importance of not only delivering solid time, but to elevate to the deeper musical core.
